The Universal Audio 1176SA calibrates two mono 1176s for stereo operation. The 1176SA was first offered for the original 1176, but has become increasingly difficult to find for use with either vintage or new 1176s. Due to customer demand for stereo operation, Universal Audio carefully recreated the original adapter. The 1176SA is a small device (4.25" x 2.5" x 1.75") which rests behind the 1176s. The 1176SA sports a full metal enclosure for proper shielding, gold-plated connectors.

You know and love Universal Audio's venerable 1176 compressor/limiter. But, sometimes, a single channel just isn't enough. Plus, if you have two of these amazing units at your disposal, you want a convenient, calibrated way to run them in stereo. That's why Universal Audio brings back its 1176-SA stereo adapter, which allows you to run two mono 1176 units in a calibrated stereo configuration. A re-creation of the original unit, the 1176-SA features two RCA connections, a shielded chassis, and an onboard long-life battery. This adapter works with both vintage and modern versions of the 1176.
